The Orion Global Solutions Team concluded the BEST YEAR TO DATE in 2018 with sights set higher for 2019.  2018 saw results of over 100% growth again this year and was full of development and success in every facet of the company, from internal systems and culture, to partnerships, and philanthropic impact on the community.

More than anything else, it is the strength of our company culture that is fundamental to who Orion is and our culture thrived more than ever this past year.  We hired some amazing new talent and expanded our sales, delivery, and operations teams. We grew into a new headquarters office near Bryant Park and the NYC Salesforce Tower, and expanded our reach by opening a new office in Atlanta, GA.

A huge part of Orion’s culture is giving back to the community and philanthropic initiatives.  One notable partnership that we are proud of being involved with in 2018 is a partnership between Salesforce and the YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).  Yacov became a founding member of the YPO NYC Chapter sustainability committee this past year and has committed Orion to different sustainability-focused initiatives.  Yacov has been actively involved for 12+ years in YPO and has been instrumental in getting other NYC chapter members involved in this partnership to drive social impact for good through philanthropy and getting business leaders involved in the community.  Yacov was also given the opportunity to showcase the vast knowledge and experience of the Orion team through several thought leadership articles about CRM that were published in the widely circulated YPO publications and other media outlets.

Orion also likes to get involved.  A fun event that Orion employees took part in was the Susan G. Komen Race in NYC to raise money for breast cancer. We also had some awesome team bonding events from bowling to challenging our team to step out of their comfort zone and into the indoor skydiving arena!

Orion also looks for ways to push the boundaries which we did by participating in and graduating from the Goldman Sachs 10,000+ program – a program geared towards helping small businesses achieve explosive growth.Special shout out to cohort 23! One of the learnings is to build community and think big. This year we are proud of the many new relationships with partners, customers, and executive leadership within Salesforce. We participated in Dreamforce in San Francisco where we hosted a great dinner for customers and friends of Orion, as well as participating in panels at two Salesforce Tours in NYC to share wisdom and experiences to attentive audiences.

We are also so proud to report that our customers have experienced great success.  A great example of this is when our customer from Knowland, Steve Titus, was featured center stage at the Scribe Tibco conference with the keynote speaker to discuss their implementation journey with Scribe Tibco, Salesforce and Orion as the strategic implementation partner.  We have built strong connections with new customers and continue to expand on work with existing customers.  What is most important however is how our customers feel about us.  We strive for excellence and under the strong leadership of Dan Farrugia, our VP of Professional Services, the Orion team has earned a 10/10 rating in customer satisfaction on our Salesforce projects.

Orion was delighted to be recognized this year as one of “The 20 Most Trusted Cloud Solution Providers” and would also like to thank Smart Hustle for the team recognition and nomination for Entrepreneur of the Year.

Orion looks forward to continuing our relentless commitment to innovation and customer success, expanding and growing with our team, customers and partners, and to ongoing contribution to our community! To wrap up the year, we had a wonderful holiday celebration with the entire Orion team, joined by customers, partners, friends and family members.  We look forward to continued growth in 2019 and beyond!
